Job Description:

Under minimal supervision and with discretion on prioritizing work and according to UAHSF establishes policies and procedures, this position is responsible for administrative support for the two physicians in the Interventional Cardiology Section as well as operational support to their assigned clinics and academic responsibilities to the Division of Cardiovascular Disease. Will also serve as liaison to other departments

Position Requirements:

Required: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Five (5) years progressive secretarial experience. Must: (1) type 50-60 words per minute accurately; (2) demonstrate proficiency in a Windows environment; (3) possess exceptional telephone & customer service skills; (4) have experience in scheduling patients, making appointments for patients with other departments/ physicians. Must also have experience in transcription of physician notes.

Preferred: Experience in a medical office setting
