Job Description:

Provides administrative support to the Organizational Development Manager, Hospital Development, Education, and Clinical departments. Coordinates meetings as requested and makes travel arrangements. Serves as liaison to other departments. Performs standard and some advanced administrative duties of confidential and/or complex nature. Maintain Alabama Board of Nursing CEU database and call schedules. Working knowledge of Association of Organ Procurement Organizations, FDA, United Network for Organ Sharing and American Association of Tissue Bank regulations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Five (5) years progressive secretarial experience. Must: (1) type 50-60 words per minute accurately; (2) demonstrate proficiency in a Windows environment; (3) be knowledgeable of basic math & bookkeeping skills; and (4) possess exceptional telephone & customer service skills. Successful completion of a credit check, using banking industry criteria, may be required in

determining the eligibility of candidates.

Preferred: Experience in a clinical setting. Business Office Education or similar coursework desired.
