Job Description:

The Retail Store Support Representative works with Retail stores to assist in sales order and corporate related inquiries.

Essential Job Duties

1. Responds to all calls and emails within 24 hours;

2. Works with shipping, cushion plant, and accounting departments to assist with store needs;

3. Reviews weekly store open orders reports to identify any issues; and communicates all backordered product concerns to stores;

4. Partners with Corporate Retail Operations Administrative Assistant to address store concerns and needs;

5. Strong knowledge of Syspro required to research store needs daily.

Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Assists Director of Operations and Store Communications with any additional store support needs;

· Creates excel documents to track several items for stores;

· Pulls SQL reports to track sales.

Expected Hours of Work

· Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some overtime is expected in this position as needed with a minimum of 38-40 hours per week. Some overnight travel as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred;
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a customer service environment required; furniture or apparel industry preferred; past supervisory experience strongly preferred;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stores and corporate employees;

· Good verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills;

· Active listening and problem-solving abilities are a must;

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

· Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel;

· Syspro (ERP) software experience preferred;

· Experience with general office equipment including multi-line telephone, fax, desktop computer, copier, and printer.
