Job opportunity: Supervisor Laboratory, Alaska Regional Hospital


**Relocation Bonus**


Position Summary: Supervises and assists in the

discipline of the employees in Hematology. Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi-automated, and/or manual methodologies. Performs diagnostic procedures. Manages department resources, develops and implements new procedures, functions as the Lab director in their absence.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Certifications: ASCP or National Certification Required

  • 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 years of clinical lab experience

  • Prior Supervisor/Lead Experience preferred

  • Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools: Blood drawing equipment, analyzers
