CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Vice President of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) working in the Strategic Programs Office (SPO) located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Project Portfolio Leader is responsible for overseeing a large collection of interconnected projects, programs, and operations to achieve strategic objectives. Working closely with key stakeholders, executive sponsors, and business owners, you will be responsible to capture the business value associated with your assigned project portfolio.Responsibilities:
- Lead business support activities, including identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities within the assigned portfolio of projects
- Provide shared services to the enterprise, primarily related to PPM transformation initiatives including process design, solution design, and EPMO setup to ensure both project quality and project delivery.
- Lead the development of solutions and offerings for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) shared services to properly manage changes to project scope, budget, schedule and requirements.
- Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end value realization on PPM Platforms including tight collaboration with enterprise-wide stakeholders
degree in business or a related discipline with a minimum of 15 years’ experience working on complex IT and/or business projects and programs.
Practical familiarity with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
In-depth understanding of program and project management best practices.
Experience driving organizational change across departments, geographies, and companies.
Experience successfully collaborating with leadership and individual contributors in person and virtually across geographies and time zones.
Nimble, flexible, able to think out of the box; apply the appropriate process/methodology or solution to a given problem.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
