What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Good written communication skills
- 1-2 years experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office preferred

Accountabilities in this role
- Required to work in various distribution related areas, including but not limited to: Picking Packing, & Shipping in a production environment
- Must be self motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction.
- Must have the ability to lift/palletize various products weighing up to 60 pounds and stand for 6-8 hours per day
- Must either possess or be able and willing to train for material handling license.
- Individual must be detail oriented.
