Main Purpose of Job:
  • The foundational responsibilities and purpose for the Associate Pediatric Nutrition Sales Rep is to generate demand through healthcare professional recommendations for assigned products in the in the Gerber Product Portfolio within designated customer touch points, to grow customer sales. Results in territory are measured by coupon redemptions, territory planning (reach and frequency), and other business related activities within their objectives.
This is a developmental role with ideal candidate willing to accept larger responsibilities in the future.

Key Outputs:
  • Generate demand through HCP recommendations in the pediatrician office, utilizing appropriate classificaiton, targeting, and cycle planning.
  • Maintain relevance in the hospital through routine touchpoints to protect and preserve current business, as well as identify and act upon opportunities for incremental business
  • Timely completion of all administrative responsibilities to support business.

Qualifications

Key Experiences:
  • Science or business related 4 year college degree
  • Experience discussing issue with decision makers during a
sale &/or physicians, dietitian, nurses, and other clinical professionals
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales function and/or working in a hospital institution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Knowledge: Nestlé Corporate/ Functional / Market / Business / Organizational
    • Core knowledge of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility.
    • Understands Medical Landscape/Strategic Institutional Engagement Skills
    • Knowledge of Gerber Good Start Product Portfolio
    • Clinical Evidence that supports Gerber Good Start Product Portfolio
    • System Knowledge (CRM 2.0, Solution Center/Vistex)
    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
