Survey Crew Member

Greeley based land surveying firm seeking hard working, self-motivated individual for field surveying position. The firm provides a variety of land surveying services to local government and private sector clients and values Integrity, Responsibility, Teamwork, Quality and Customer Service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

R Assist in a prompt start to survey activities by stocking truck with equipment and tools daily

R Assist the crew chief in all aspects of the survey

R Setting up equipment on arrival at jobsite

R Packing up equipment on departure of jobsite

R Maintain and clean survey equipment, tools and vehicle

R Ensure all equipment is properly charged and ready for use

R Carrying stakes and surveying equipment

R Hammering and digging

R Preparing Jobsite Hazard Analysis for each project

R Maintain records and prepare reports

Qualifications:

R High school diploma or GED

R Clean driving

R Ability to carry out written and oral instructions

R Ability to communicate effectively

R Ability to work 10-12h days in remote or rural areas

R Ability to work outside, in all weather conditions

R Ability to walk long distances or stand for long periods

R Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

R Ability to learn principles and practices of land surveying

R Ability to make arithmetic computations accurately and legibly record results

R Team oriented

R Client focused

Preferred Characteristics:

R Surveying experience

R Construction/Engineering or Oil & Gas experience

R Current Safety training (OSHA, Safeland, H2S, CPR, First Aid)
