IT Technical Manager (Overnight)

Job Description:

Owns the output of a single work area within Technical Support and typically manages a team of IT Support job family roles.
Helps manage the organization's technical operations and the configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrading of computer systems hardware and software.
Provides technical support services, analyzes current operations, and identifies opportunities to improve safety, product quality, cost, and schedule performance. Accounts for budget performance of all assigned functions.
Performs and manages assessments and improvement plans for networks and utilities, platform and storage, servers, internet/web, operating systems and database, and application/infrastructure performance.
Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge but is guided by functional practices and well defined management precedents. Focuses on implementing and executing strategies within own department/discipline/team.

5 years experience in Mainframe and Distributed Computer Operations
Work schedule from 7pm to 7am; weekend coverage rotation
Familiar with Automation Products
Ability to read and write scripts

Need to have experience and/or knowledge of the following tools:
CA7 and ESP operations monitoring experience
Knowledge to use ServiceNow
Experieince using SKYPE
Proficient in WORD and EXCEL
Experience with Jira or Rally

High School Diploma (Required)
