Job Description:

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for all janitorial operations of an assigned building, construction clean up contract work or location. The individual ensures quality service for all contract sites and works directly with other Janitorial Supervisors on daily interactions with clients, vendors, and General Cleaners. Keeps Area Janitorial Manager, Assistant Janitorial Manager and/or Senior Janitorial Manager current on daily business operations.
1. Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure safe working conditions for the area supervised. Follow all Goodwill’s policies and procedures.
2. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction by maintaining a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality in the work environment.
3. Oversee daily operations of all internal and/or external janitorial services in assigned areas. Coordinate structure and schedule work flow to meet requirements of all contracts.
4. Develop and maintain a quality working relationship with customer base.
5. Keep organized records of all inventory, equipment, and service contracts.
6. Provide support services necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the area.
7. Assist in meeting standards and maintaining documentation for various regulations and accreditation agencies.
8. Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental and cost center budgets and monitor revenue and expenses to budget for assigned areas.
9. Ability to perform and supervise construction clean up locations and sites as needed.
10. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates (including days, nights, and weekends).
11. Keep other Janitorial Supervisors, Area Janitorial Managers and/or Assistant Janitorial Manager advised of progress, problems and new developments on a regular basis.
12. Must be an active participant in the cleaning of the building.
13. Must attend all MST meetings/training sessions and/or any other training sessions assigned by management.
14. All other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
Extensive hands on experience in janitorial field with demonstrated capability to develop and lead a janitorial crew.

Must have a valid driver's license.
