Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.Three years of advanced clerical experience to include elections experience are required.

Recruitment Notes

The Elections Department is responsible for ensuring all federal,state and county,municipal and special taxing district elections are conducted and tabulated in a correct,uniform,and impartial manner with adherence to federal,state and local election laws.This position performs administrative work consisting of various administrative activities in the Early Voting Section of the Poll Worker Recruitment & Training Division.The incumbent exercises some independent judgment in devising and implementing new methods,interpreting rules,regulations and procedures and making recommendations to supervisors.Duties assigned to this position include but are not limited to training permanent and temporary staff,evaluating policies and procedures;preparing procedures manuals and PowerPoint presentations,maintaining and performing quality assurance of files, manuals,layouts, checklists,staffing database(s),Visio layouts, section calendars and timelines; tracking supply inventories;preparing purchase orders,assisting with the preparation of budget and tracking expenditure and providing customer service by phone,in person,by email and texting.
