You Will Be Responsible For:


  • Effectively and proactively manages critical programs within the Leadership Institute such as General Orientation, Leadership Institute, Facility Leadership New Leader Experience, Annual Performance Review Process, Pulse Survey and others as directed.
  • Creates and implements leadership development programs for direct managers and team members, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and review current development programs to ensure alignment to organizational mission, culture framework, technology systems, and proven best practices.
  • Continually builds the company's stock of human capital and encourage employee development.
  • Assists in the design, deployment, and evaluation of development programs related to performance development, succession planning, and career development.
  • Partners with Clinical Education and Human Resources to support development and rollout of initiatives as assigned.
  • Develops methods and tools to measure development and training initiative impact and effectiveness across the organization; conduct analyses to determine the impact of training on retention.
  • Manages efforts to identify training and development requirements by conducting needs analysis on organization results, job requirements, operational problems, organizational plans and projections, and current training programs.
  • Maintains current industry information, including new thinking and new approaches, and regularly communicates to broader Organizational Effectiveness management and team members as appropriate.
  • Prioritizes projects in order to deliver programs within established guidelines and timelines that elevate extraordinary customer care results among the consumer facing population.
  • Works collaboratively across organization’s strategy to ensure that team members continue to grow personally and professionally, and that the organization meets its stated growth objectives.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.



Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Organizational Development, Leadership, or similar
  • 3 years’ experience in healthcare, leadership development or related field.
  • 1-year experience supervising staff
  • Certified in at least one performance development assessment tool, such as DDI, N-Charge, DiSC, Workplace Big 5 or similar
  • Ability to clearly articulate their purpose and how it aligns with the organizational Mission
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, including senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to create and perform culture assessments and develop related strategies to address areas of weakness
  • Effective coaching skills supported by strong diplomacy, tact, facilitation, persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Results-oriented self-starter with the ability to move beyond barriers and effectively execute goals and accepts accountability for outcomes
  • Strong facilitation and effective communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills in both large and small group settings and with diverse work groups.
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning curriculum design and deployment methods.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and effectively manage concurrent projects; highly adaptable to changing demands, conflicting priorities and a fast-paced evolving environment.
  • Willing to take initiative and lead projects with little supervision
  • Able to toggle between strategic development and tactical execution
  • Skilled at building relationships across multiple departments and reporting lines
  • Skilled in motivating and coaching front-line staff and leaders
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills combined with business acumen and organizational and interpersonal skills to engage and develop a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrated fluency to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Computer Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based meeting tools (i.e. Skype, WebEx etc.)

Job Summary:
The Organizational Effectiveness Manager is responsible for providing a broad range of performance consulting, facilitation, coaching, and curriculum design and implementation for complex enterprise projects and initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities include managing/leading the design and delivery of leadership and team member development training for the Leadership Institute and broader talent and organizational development efforts. Partners with internal stakeholders at all levels to focus on solutions that build necessary skills and competencies in the workforce. Collaborates closely with leaders at a facility level to conduct needs assessments and diagnosis, and ensure alignment and integration of strategies, projects and programs for successful implementation and results that drive and support organizational key performance indicators (KPIs). Partners with Clinical Education and Human Resources to support development and rollout of initiatives as assigned. The Organizational Effectiveness Manager is a mission-minded leader and ambassador of the organization, who demonstrates the organization’s core values and service excellence standards at all times.
