What you will do:
- Serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for the Information Technology (IT) Security Risk functions that include Privacy, Disaster Recovery, Vendor Security Accreditation and Risk Management.
- Conducts daily review of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to identify policy violation incidents, investigate/process/escalate according to policy and provide monthly reporting. Assists in managing the DLP systems and maintaining rules.
- Executes the Vendor Security Accreditation process to review 3rd parties’ security controls to ensure they adequately protect QHS patient, employee or other confidential information as applicable.
- Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the Information Technology (IT) Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity (BC) Planning functions,
- Coordinates the IT Risk Management function including completion of risk assessments, tracking risks & controls, monitoring and reporting on remediation activities.
Requirements and Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare or related field; or four (4) years work experience in information technology may be substituted for educational requirement.
- Certification in business continuity or information security preferred.
- In addition to the educational requirement, four (4) years experience in IT security, including experience in two (2) or more of the following areas: IT disaster recovery, risk management, business continuity, or privacy, preferably in healthcare.
- Prior experience managing disaster recovery and business continuity functions.
- Knowledge of computer technology as related to telecommunications, networks and client operations.
