Job Description:

Mueller & Co LLP seeks a highly motivated part time recruiter to support recruiting activities for a range of positions spanning, marketing, editorial, research, and sales functions. The role will support the HR Director, primarily providing support at the beginning of the recruiting cycle (screening candidates and conducting phone interviews). Our aim is to hire individuals who are an excellent match for our culture and who have the potential to grow with us, rather than simply meeting a checklist of specific skills. As a result, initial interviews to assess candidate fit are highly important. Able to provide weekly people pipeline updates and help with strategic planning.

Primary Responsibilities For The Contract Recruiter Include

  • Screening applicants to online job boards
  • Conducting first round screening interviews
  • Scheduling subsequent round interviews with HR and/or hiring manager
  • Conducting phone references for prospective hires

Specific Requirements Include

  • The ideal candidate for this contract role will be a highly organized and experienced recruiter, available to spend 10-20 hours/week reviewing resumes and conducting phone interviews.
  • Demonstrated success in a recruiting role, either in-house or agency, covering a range of positions at various organizational levels (e.g. Audit/Tax Associates to Tax/Audit/ACS Management)
  • Has some background in Public Accounting
  • Experience and willingness to utilize behavioral interviewing methods with prospective candidates • Familiarity with online job boards (e.g. LinkedIn, Zip Recruiters) and ATS
  • Ability to work from a home office and conduct phone interviews during Central time zone normal working hours
  • Familiarity With Media Company Recruiting
  • Campus Recruiting will provide specialized support in recruiting top students to the organization
