Job Summary

The HEALTH EDUCATION SPECIALIST position, in consultation with departmental education faculty and UK Healthcare leadership, is responsible for the management, facilitation, and supervision of the daily operations and logistics for the simulation educational program for anesthesiology residents, fellows, and medical students.

In addition, the HEALTH EDUCATION SPECIALIST position serves as the primary liaison between the UK Healthcare Office of Simulation, program faculty, chief residents, house staff, medical students, and affiliated teaching sites concerning program educational matters.

MS: Excel, Power Point, Word, Publisher, Outlook; ACGME and GME regulations.

Preferred Education/Experience

Master’s degree plus two or more years experience working in academic environment is preferred.
