The essential job functions of this position require you to: maintain confidentiality; prioritize and manage work effectively; provide exceptional customer service and positively represent UK Healthcare; ensure work is detailed, accurate and completed in a timely manner; perform work in a sedentary position; interact with individuals from various levels throughout the Enterprise and work successfully in a team as well as independently.
Primarily Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, weekends, evening shifts as the business needs arise
The Patient Financial Services Quality Control representative is responsible for providing day-to-day direct supervision of electronic transmittals. This position will assist in establishing goals and objectives for monitoring work inventory and adjust needs for department as appropriate; manage reporting and work queues to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion; and utilize various reports to track PFS metrics. This position will also maintain compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, and other legal requirements; create and maintain a positive work environment; and ensure the organizations goals are met.
The ideal candidate will have previous reporting experience; be customer service oriented; possess in-depth HIPAA knowledge; have the ability to lead and direct others toward goal setting and attainment, taking into account divergent demands while managing scope and timelines; be well organized
