HIRING IMMEDIATELY
The UPS Store is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service/Sales Associate.
  • Applicants must have excellent communication skills and attendance history.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Programs and Adobe Creative Software is highly desirable.
  • 6 months - 2 years customer and/or sales experience in a retail environment.
  • POS/computer office equipment experience.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time as needed.
  • Be a fast learner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
  • Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
  • Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
  • Operates office equipment including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and 10-key calculators
  • May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
  • Develops as a team player and is critical to the production process
  • Maintains strong attention to detail when proofing all materials
  • Operates and maintains print and finishing equipment
  • Communicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership
  • Expertly operates POS equipment
  • Helps customers with expert boxing and packaging, selling the appropriate products to ship materials safely and efficiently


QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Retail/customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds
