Work you'll do:

  • Maintain an understanding of deployment and adoption activity across all programs/projects within the portfolio, including status, release dates, issues/risks, member firm readiness and adoption status
  • Meet regularly or as needed with project teams to ensure appropriate involvement in project planning and definition of scope
  • Provide strategic guidance on deployment and adoption activities, including overall approach, plans for accelerating adoption, training, communications, and eventually monitoring of adoption status
  • Manage organizational change activities including culture change
  • Maintain holistic view of the active/coming projects across multiple areas and update appropriate dashboards in a timely manner
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for overall adoption goals
  • Direct collaboration with global, regional, and/or local member firm teams to promote adoption of solutions, practices, and processes
  • Work with member firms to develop, review, and monitor their deployment and adoption plans for various initiatives
  • Manage change-related activities, such as communication planning, coordination with global learning team on learning delivery and developing change-related methods and processes
  • Complete and maintain resource estimates for all projects where team resources are engaged
  • Ensure contribution to project risk assessment and release readiness processes
  • Direct delivery of project scope and requirements, using defined processes, templates, guidance, including the preparation and review of deployment and adoption deliverables that are provided to member firms
  • Draft and deliver project, program, and leadership updates
  • Gather feedback from member firms and make recommendations for improvement
  • Demonstrate contribution to meeting stakeholder commitments as evidenced by satisfactory or above ratings from project leadership, team members and peers

People management

  • Manage team resources (senior analysts, and/or analysts) against project milestones while providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management feedback
  • Consult with cross-functional teams on the team’s approach, strategy, and plans
  • Manage relationships with other Deloitte teams and lead change-related activities for on-going global initiatives while promoting teaming
  • Communicate with member firm business teams and support their activities
  • Demonstrate ongoing relationships with member firm team members and leadership to promote and coordinate change-related activities and plans

Knowledge sharing/documentation

  • Drive contributions to existing communication vehicles to promote team activities across the respective initiatives we support
  • Develop and train other resources on our established methodologies and tools
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement and methodology initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned sessions
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of strategy, processes, standards and methodologies and act as a change management subject matter expert

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or an acceptable amount of professional experience working in a matrixed global environment

Years of Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in professional/client services capacity, emphasizing development/management skills in the following areas:
    • Communication
    • Change management
    • Organizational culture change
    • Documentation, learning, and general business analysis.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading project teams on change management and adoption projects

Technical Skills

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into various forms of documentation for various levels and audiences
  • Ability to understand a global infrastructure and the integration of member firm environments
  • Advanced understanding of tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, O365, SharePoint, Articulate, BrainShark, Adobe Captivate, HTML, Articulate, and Skype.
  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Ability to comprehend business processes and impact to projects at hand
  • Ability to lead people, projects, and interact with varying levels of management
  • Advanced ability to work within a virtual team environment, including virtual resource management
  • Effective resource management skills to meet project demands
  • Experience in presentation, organization, and facilitation
  • Experience working with diverse organizations (directly or virtually) in various geographic locations
