Job Overview:
As a Line Lead of the Assembly Department at Amazon Robotics, you will assist in leading a team of electro-mechanical technicians who perform complex assembly and testing of various AR products. The company product portfolio requires detail oriented, organized, and high-energy individuals to coordinate daily activities and implement critical initiatives. A successful candidate for this position is a self-managing, action-oriented individual, focused on developing a high performing team while delivering business results.

Principle Job Requirements:
  • Assist with daily execution of the Assembly department’s Key Performance Indicators with a strong focus on safety and quality, removing barriers for technicians as they arise.
  • Assist in management, growth, and development of a team of high-performing technicians, promoting a culture of inclusion, innovation and performance.
  • Gather, trend and report data in order to promote improvement initiatives from suppliers through factory.
  • Drive efficiency and quality through process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives and root cause / corrective action exercises.
  • Work effectively across functions with matters involving Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience leading teams of 30 or more in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in complex work environments, including (but not limited to) robotics, automation, diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Well versed in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques.
