POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Consultant will sell new and used vehicles using Ressler’s Best Price policy and procedures in addition to adhering to implemented sales strategies, meeting sales goals and objectives while maintaining the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention. Sales Consultant will be become certified for the brand her or she will primarily be selling.

  • Sell used and new vehicles by focusing on the process of understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Utilize Ressler Motors sales procedures, processes, and follow-up.
  • Understand, use, and convey Ressler Motors Best Price system to customers.
  • Obtain basic knowledge of automotive systems and a thorough knowledge of prices, models, series, options, specifications, and other variations of the manufacturer’s products.
  • Work with Sales Managers in completing sales contracts.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Managers, determine personal sales goals while building a clientele base and referral sales.
  • Identify and contact existing and potential customers to promote the company's diverse activities and maximize the revenue from each product line
  • Ensure that all paperwork is processed and information required to complete all deals is complete, accurate, and is distributed to the correct personnel in a timely manner and that any special details regarding pricing, financial, or special payments is promptly, and clearly communicated.
  • Attend mandatory meetings, including, but not limited to,
sales, teams, and training and to ensure that sales information is flowing both horizontally and vertically throughout the organization.
  • Perform lot duties including but not limited to: snow removal on vehicles, parking, display, pricing, lockup, and trade-in procedure.
  • Strive to increase and improve customer communication and follow up to maintain relationship and ensure satisfaction with the service and products being provided.
  • Meet and exceed established Customer Satisfaction Index rating and in maintain regional positioning.
  • Inspect vehicles prior to delivery and work with delivery staff to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.
  • Requirements:
    • Follow all procedures and policies set forth by management, the Employee Handbook and the Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy.
    • Keep a neat and orderly work station.
    • Be willing to perform necessary tasks outside of normally assigned duties and responsibilities to help the General Sales Manager operate the Sales Department productively and efficiently.
    • Follow Ressler Motor Company’s Philosophy, Values and Mission Statement.
    • Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
    • Follow all safety and health procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
    • Any other duties as assigned by management.
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    • Valid Driver License and clean driving record required.
