Client Service Associate

A growing wealth management firm is seeking a Client Service Associate to assist our Financial Advisors with our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals. This is your chance to play a key role in the expansion of our services and growth of our team.

Description

Our Client Service Associate will play a critical role in the client service and back-office functioning of our team. This role will provide administrative support to multiple financial advisors by ensuring that client service needs, paperwork and processing are handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist his/her Advisors by supporting their marketing & client appreciation programs.

Responsibilities & Activities

Handles client service needs including the items below:

  • Processes new accounts
  • Processes account transfers
  • Processes new contributions and redemptions
  • Processes beneficiary changes
  • Maintains excellent electronic records
  • Sets and confirms Advisor(s) appointments
  • Coordinates state, SEC, and FINRA licensing for Advisor
  • Develops and maintains written systems of all activities
  • Works closely with other team members and office staff
  • Schedule Wholesaler Lunch & Learns - inviting advisors, arranging lunch, maintaining non-cash compensation logs for
advisors
  • Maintain social media sites for Advisors - Post relevant material on social media sites & make website updates
  • Assist Advisor with planning & executing client recruiting & client appreciation events
  • Performs other duties as assigned

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

      • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Please do not apply if you are only looking for a Marketing role as this position will primarily be Client Service focused and requires a Minimum of 2 years of securities industry experience
    • Helpful:
      • BA/BS degree in business (finance, accounting, economics, general business, etc.)
      • Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and investment securities
      • Salary is commensurate with experience
