Sales Retention Specialist

The Sales Retention Specialist will provide exceptional customer service experience to small businesses currently defined as under 1000 monthly recurring revenue, located primarily in North America. Use your persuasion skills to win back customers and get rewarded You will be responsible for retaining North American small business owners who are considering cancelling their subscription service. Youll actively listen to understand the customers reasons for leaving and retain them through a variety of defined playbook strategies. Your ability to win over people with your positive attitude and persuasion skills will remind customers why they originally signed-up as well as promoting additional value in extending their cloud communications services monthly bonus for meeting and exceeding targets

Sales Retention Specialist Primary Job Functions:

  • Answer inbound calls, and make outbound calls, to small business owners who have indicated that they are planning to terminate their services

  • Achieve and exceed individual monthly targets

  • Probe for the reasons why the customer is planning to switch services

  • Execute best retention practices using your persuasion skills

  • Manage all interactions and offers in

  • Collaborate with sales management on ideas to implement new tactics in winning customers back

Sales Retention Specialist Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a HS Diploma/GED

  • Must be able

to pass a background check

  • Able type a minimum of 30 WPM

  • Customer Service Experience 1-2 years

  • Punctuality (Good Attendance)

  • Positive and Professional Demeanor

  • Persuasion Skills

  • Active Listening Skills

  • Customer Focused

  • Computer Skills understanding of cloud computing and telephone/communications services

  • Detailed Oriented

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Solid experience in problem solving and resolution skills

  • Strong analytical skills, able to multitask

    • Business Acumen to understand small business owners priorities

    • Salesforce and/or CRM experience preferred

    • Able to work in a fast pace call center environment

    Sales Retention Specialist Desired Skills:

    Previous sales and/or retention experience in a call center business to business sales preferred
