Job Description:

PMO Manager Trainee

Job Summary:

Actively participates and learns all aspects of Project management
including construction management, assists all project managers to ensure PMO
processes are implemented and executed.

Primary Responsibilities of the Job: This
is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities; other assignments
will be made as needed. Assists Project Managers and is able to demonstrate
proficiency in the following:

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals
and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assist in development of full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Assist with project budget
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Educate employees in project management methods and best
practices.
  • Educate and support employees in use of project management
software.
  • Support the Project Management Office in continually improving
project management standards.
