Job Description:
PMO Manager Trainee
Job Summary:
Actively participates and learns all aspects of Project management
including construction management, assists all project managers to ensure PMO
processes are implemented and executed.
Primary Responsibilities of the Job: This
is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities; other assignments
will be made as needed. Assists Project Managers and is able to demonstrate
proficiency in the following:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals
and
deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Assist in development of full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Assist with project budget
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Educate employees in project management methods and best
- Educate and support employees in use of project management
- Support the Project Management Office in continually improving
