Job Description:
GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our team at a federal site in Los Alamos, NM, that provides integral mission support to the Department of Energy.
Position Overview
- Use knowledge of principles and concepts of various environmental scientific and engineering disciplines.
- Develop methods of studying the environment.
- Develop methods of abating and controlling sources of environmental pollutants, meteorologists, oceanographers, soil scientists, range managers, and ecologists.
- Study the composition, structure, and physical history of the environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant,
environmental experience.
Prior Department of Energy experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance.
Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
