This position is a Pay Band 70
Purpose of Position
Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
Why does the job exist?
Supervises the Tribal/Local Government, Relocation, and State and federal government unit.
How does it get done?
Coordinates all New Mexico Department of Transportation project related activities involving tribal, county and municipalities, state agencies, and federal agencies.
Who are the customers?
The New Mexico Department of Transportation, the general public, statewide tribal governments, and county and municipalities.
Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of tribal, county, and municipal policies and regulations.
- Manager experience.
- Ability to work with diverse people and situations.
Minimum Qualification
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of heavy supervisory or limited professional level experience operating within strict parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above
