As an Administrative Assistant on our team in Albany, NY, you will perform a wide variety of administrative and staff project support services in our North PMCM group. You will be accountable for coordination of project deliverables, processing invoices, scheduling meetings, calendar maintenance and travel itineraries. You’ll also assist the team with maintenance of databases and the tracking and preparation of reports, budgets, and financials. Your strong organization skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels – both orally and in writing will help us meet our client's objectives.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years or more of administrative experience within an engineering, construction or related organization.
  • Advanced Level computer skills in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Teams)
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Software)
  • Demonstrate key competencies in the areas of communication, planning and organizing, flexibility and adaptability, customer service, problem assessment and problem solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • College education or degree
  • Experience working with high-level
clients, executives, and government and public officials

Essential Functions:

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
