The primary purpose of this position is to work alongside the Office Manager to support the workings of the Office of International Education and Development and represent as the first person to engage with stakeholders and visitors. Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following: * General office receptionist duties of engagement such as answering multiple telephone lines, taking messages, greeting participants/visitors, and directing participants to appropriate staff. * Engage in public contact to obtain, clarify, or provide information regarding activities of the office. * Other general office duties such as making photocopies and using other office technology, typing, web page maintenance, database data entry, compiling records, organizing and maintaining files, posting information, mail distribution, and providing daily support to professional staff with daily items, accounting duties and international business travel insurance. * Help direct and supervise student office employees for student development and growth in mind with tact, clear directions and defined expectations, while giving semester evaluations with constructive feedback. * Assist with grant logistics for several projects throughout the year. * Prepare meeting minutes, documents and reports. * Other special projects as assigned.
Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
