Your Role and Responsibilities
IES Partner Connect is seeking a Network Security Services Technical Support Professional. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage the security technology to control the access to IBM internal resources following the established corporate security policies. You will also be responsible for understanding the flow and providing solutions to grant controlled access to internal resources. Additionally, you will work with internal business focal points of external vendors and partners to gather requirements, implement solutions, provide post-implementation support, and generate documentation, processes, and procedures intended for long term use. The candidate must possess good communication, coordination and team leadership skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5 years experience customer support skills
  • 5 years experience in managing complex projects
  • Hands on experience on using JIRA and GitHub
  • Ability to self-manage assigned tasks and projects and work independently with minimal direction
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of control access to resources using IBM Security Access Manager for various types of applications (Web URLs, SAP, Host on Demand 3270 apps)
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in network architectures for building and supporting remote access solutions
  • Detail understanding and experience in firewall configuration methods
  • Comprehensive understanding of the networking, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewall functionality
  • Comprehensive understanding of server infrastructure and middleware (i.e. LDAP, HOD server, Load Balancer)
  • Experience with digital certificates and understanding of impact on security on client facing servers
  • Detailed understanding of network topologies and network security zones

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • IBM Security Identity Manager expertise
  • Knowledge in architecture principles
  • Experience in
developing process documentation
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, products and trends related to remote access solutions
  • Experience with identifying gaps between established standards and proposed solutions
