The Department of Military & Veterans Affairs is looking for an independent, responsible candidate to fill our Clerk 2 position at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home located in Erie, Pennsylvania.

This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Clinical Services Manager and Assistant Clinical Services Manager (DON/ADON) at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home.

12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Monday - Friday
7.5 hours/day; 37.5 hours/week

Six months as a Clerk 1 and educational development to the level of the eighth grade; OR

Completion of a high school business curriculum; OR

Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledge and abilities.

Legal Requirements:
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act:
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment may require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

  • A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
