Deposit Operations Service Representative

Duties: In accordance with established bank standards, answers telephone inquiries, directs calls to the appropriate service partners, and ensures requests are completed timely and accurately. In accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements is responsible for processing daily exception items, overdrafts, stop payments, chargeback returns, debit card maintenance, account maintenance, delayed availability holds, and telephone transfers. Performs clerical processing and related duties, including but not limited to; credit verifications, date of death values, document research requests, file and document imaging, as well as other identified duties. Responsible for handling, sorting, and preparation of the bank’s incoming and outgoing mail, including the operation of mailroom equipment.
Skills: Good communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills. Moderate to advanced computer skills, including; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and moderate typing skills are required. Comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents specific deposits preferred.
Experience: Prior deposit or teller experience preferred, but not required.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
