This position is eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $10,000 (prorated for part time roles). The bonus will be paid out as a $5,000.00 gross pay adjustment in the first pay check and the remaining $5,000.00 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours/ prorated for part time) of satisfactory service.
Provides advanced professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's health needs. The Ambulatory RN II provides direct care to patients and families, as well
State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license required. The University of Vermont Medical Center is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, a RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in the terms of their offer letter. Current internal RNs are strongly encouraged to pursue a BSN to support this initiative.
1 year experience in relevant clinical area and/or independent in all areas of the Ambulatory RN I accountabilities.This is a bargaining union position.
