Job Description:

Centauri is seeking a strong HRIS Analyst with some HR Generalist experience to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia! This individual will be our go-to person for HRIS administration and reporting and have the ability to handle a dynamic workload in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and in-depth technical knowledge of HR systems and processes in order to accomplish the following job duties:

HRIS

  • Responsible for day-to-day administration and maintenance of the ADP Workforce Now system as well as other HR-related systems, to include both internal and third-party applications
  • Monitors HRIS workflow and audits for accuracy to ensure data integrity and quality control standards are met or exceeded
  • Analyzes current systems, recommending solutions to resolve challenges and improve efficiency
  • Serves as a daily point of contact for employees, vendors, and third-party administrators; including responsibility as the main POC for maintaining eligibility of data file transfers, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with vendors and with internal systems integration
  • Develops and maintains standard, custom, and ad hoc reports for HR and other departments (Metrics-based reporting including but not limited to: headcount/department reporting, PTO liability, turnover, performance reviews, EEO-1/Vets 4212, Section 125, Affirmative Action Plan, ACA, etc.
  • Handles the new hire and termination process from start-to-finish
  • Seen as the subject matter expertise on all things related to HR systems features, functionality, integration and troubleshooting

ACA

  • Reviews monthly
ACA administration and audits
  • Supporting ACA reporting and closing year end cycle
  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
    • Collaborates with management to recommend process improvements, solutions and procedural changes
    • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
    • Performs audits and reconciles bills on a monthly basis
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources experience to include:
      • HRIS functions, maintenance, reporting and analysis; experience with ADP Work Force Now highly desirable
      • Benefits administration and management of open enrollment set up is required
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred; additional human resources experience may be substituted for degree
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently
    • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Must demonstrate advanced hands-on Excel knowledge
    • Solid time management skills with an ability to prioritize time and manage multiple complex projects concurrently without compromising quality
    • Pro-active nature and the ability to follow through until assignment completion
    • HR Certification preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills is required
