Serve as the receptionist for the School of Continuing Education(SoCE). Responsible for answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate persons and/or offices. Greet all persons entering reception area, answer questions, direct person to appropriate offices and schedule appointments for conference room personnel. Keep all materials in the area current and orderly.
Prepare program related administrative, logistical support and correspondence to students, instructors, membership organizations, etc. with accuracy and in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external SoCE customers by providing information in an accurate, timely and professional manner. Be fully knowledgeable of School’s programs and services.
Working knowledge of the Internet.
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and Excel. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Must be highly organized and able to function in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and assist the public, in person and via email and phone.
