Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. Job Title: Office Clerk
Reporting Relationship: Reports to – Manager
1. Essential Function:
The office clerk is primarily responsible for completing and reviewing all paperwork.
2. Basic Functions:
a. Responsible for running sales reports and reconciling prior day’s paperwork. This enables the manager to identify and correct margins that are below expectations.
b. Answer phone and direct calls to the proper individual;
c. Take fuel orders;
d. Provide customer service when needed. This duty includes, but is not limited to, collecting money, making change, answering customer inquiries, etc.;
e. Enter incoming merchandise from vendors into the computer system;
f. Establish purchase order numbers for all merchandise that is delivered
g. Updates and verifies that sales orders have the correct information
h. Ensure that all files and ordering books are up to date
i. Run all inventory reports
j. Post payments that are “received on accounts” into the computer system
k. Distribute daily and
l. Dispatch drivers and keep dispatch spreadsheet updated with all deliveries
a. High school diploma and computer skills.
b. Bending, twisting, squatting, crouching, and kneeling
c. Frequently lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
d. Sitting for extended periods of time
e. Operating assigned equipment
Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.

Pay: $11.00 per hour
